About the tool
Repetitive Motion Recordings is an independent music label based in Los Angeles. We use this internal reporting tool to understand the performance of advertising associated with our own Google Ads accounts.
The tool authenticates authorized users through Google OAuth and uses the Google Ads API through Google’s official Google Ads MCP server. The MCP server is hosted in our Google Cloud environment on Cloud Run and is connected to ChatGPT as an internal natural-language reporting interface.
Reporting only
The tool is used for read-only reporting and analysis. It is not intended to manage advertising campaigns.
Internal access
Access is limited to authorized internal users of Repetitive Motion Recordings. It is not offered to clients or the general public.
What information can be retrieved
Depending on the information available in Google Ads, reporting may include:
- campaign, ad group, and ad performance;
- impressions, views, clicks, engagement, cost, and conversion reporting;
- video and creative performance;
- audience, geographic, device, placement, and related reporting dimensions;
- account and campaign metadata necessary to identify and organize reporting results; and
- basic Google account identity information needed to authenticate the authorized user.
Why we request Google user data
Google user data is requested only to authenticate an authorized user and provide internal reporting, analysis, troubleshooting, and performance evaluation for Google Ads accounts owned or managed by Repetitive Motion Recordings.
We do not sell Google user data or provide it to data brokers or other third parties for their independent use.
Read-only operation
The Google Ads reporting connection is configured for read-only use. The tool does not create, edit, pause, enable, delete, or otherwise modify Google Ads campaigns, advertisements, bids, budgets, audiences, assets, or account settings.
Advertising decisions and account changes are made by authorized users directly through Google Ads.
Services used to operate the tool
The reporting workflow uses Google OAuth, the Google Ads API, the official Google Ads MCP server, Google Cloud infrastructure, and ChatGPT. These services process information as necessary to authenticate users, retrieve requested reporting data, and present analysis to authorized internal users.
