Our approach
Repetitive Motion Recordings uses analytics and advertising technologies to understand how people discover and interact with our music, measure which outreach is useful, and help us reach listeners, DJs, and other people who are likely to share an interest in underground house music. Our purpose is community building and audience development—not the sale of personal information.
We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not provide personal information to data brokers or unrelated third parties for their independent use. Information may be processed by the service providers and advertising platforms described below when necessary to operate analytics, measurement, attribution, advertising, audience building, security, and our internal reporting systems.
Information collected through our website
Depending on your device, browser, location, privacy settings, consent choices, and how you interact with the site, information may include:
- pages visited, referral information, link clicks, and other website interactions;
- browser, device, operating-system, and approximate location information;
- IP address and cookies or similar identifiers used by analytics or advertising services;
- advertising interactions and attribution information; and
- information you voluntarily provide, such as an email address if you choose to join a mailing list or request information.
Analytics and advertising services
We may use services including Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, Meta advertising technologies, and Spotify advertising and measurement tools. These services may process website or advertising-event information to provide analytics, attribution, campaign measurement, audience insights, remarketing or audience-building functionality, and related advertising services.
Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads
Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads may process information such as site interactions, referral information, device/browser information, cookies or similar identifiers, and advertising/conversion events. We use this information to understand site usage, measure advertising performance, and improve how we reach people likely to be interested in the music.
Meta
Meta advertising technologies may receive website or conversion-event information for measurement, attribution, audience building, and advertising purposes. Depending on configuration and your privacy choices, this may include browser/device information, page or event activity, cookies or similar identifiers, and information used to match advertising interactions.
Spotify
Spotify advertising and measurement tools may receive advertising or website-event information used for campaign measurement, attribution, audience insights, or related advertising functionality.
Google Ads Reporting Tool and Google user data
Repetitive Motion Recordings also operates an internal, read-only reporting tool that connects to the Google Ads API. The tool uses Google OAuth to authenticate authorized internal users and Google’s official Google Ads MCP server to retrieve reporting information from Google Ads.
The application may request basic Google account identity information, such as the authorized user’s email address and profile information, along with access to Google Ads account information authorized through the Google Ads API.
Google Ads information may include campaign and advertising performance data such as impressions, views, clicks, engagement, cost, conversions, campaign information, ad information, audiences, geographic data, device data, placement data, and other reporting dimensions and metrics available through the Google Ads API.
How we use Google user data
Information obtained through Google APIs is used only for internal reporting, analysis, troubleshooting, and performance evaluation of Google Ads accounts owned or managed by Repetitive Motion Recordings. The reporting tool is read-only and is not used to create, modify, pause, delete, or otherwise change campaigns, advertisements, bids, budgets, audiences, assets, or account settings.
Service providers and processing
Our systems may rely on service providers including Google, Meta, Spotify, OpenAI, Cloudflare, and related infrastructure providers. These providers may process information as necessary to deliver the services we use. We do not authorize these providers to sell personal information on our behalf or to use it for unrelated independent purposes beyond the terms and settings that govern the services we use.
Storage and retention
Information may be retained in analytics, advertising, reporting, security, or internal business systems for as long as reasonably necessary for measurement, reporting, troubleshooting, security, operational needs, or applicable legal obligations. Google Ads reporting responses may appear in authorized internal ChatGPT conversations or other internal reporting systems according to the settings and retention practices of those services.
Cookies, privacy choices, and opting out
You may be able to limit certain analytics or advertising technologies through browser settings, device settings, consent controls, advertising-platform controls, or other privacy choices available in your jurisdiction. Blocking cookies or similar technologies may affect some site functionality or measurement.
Where applicable law requires consent or provides opt-out rights, we intend to honor those choices through the controls and platform settings available to us.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Repetitive Motion Recordings’ use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements.
Revoking Google access
Authorized users may revoke the application’s access to their Google account through their Google Account security and permissions settings. Revoking authorization may prevent the internal Google Ads Reporting Tool from retrieving associated Google Ads information.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect information against unauthorized access, misuse, loss, alteration, or disclosure. Access to the internal Google Ads Reporting Tool is restricted to authorized users.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our technology, advertising stack, legal obligations, or data practices change. The current version will remain available at this URL.
